I would say that the car in the CL post is probably not worth the $3,900 asking, since it probably needs to be completely disassembled to ensure that deteriorated bits are refreshed.

For Free? Sure.
For $3900? No.
Note that the V8 in that thing makes less power than the 4 cyl in my Focus SE Wagon.
And I have to wonder why it was parked for 20 years...
